November Ideas

Wow, where did October go!

November is jam packed with activity from Bonfire to Black Friday & Cyber Monday and of course the countdown to Christmas.

With Halloween out the way, people’s attention turns to Guy Fawkes and bonfire night. Join the party and celebrate with your customers. If your business caters to children, what about some Guy Fawkes craft or a drawing competition. If you’re in the food industry perhaps you could share food ideas perfect for watching fireworks on a chilly Autumn night.

The BBC’s Children in Need happens this month on the 18th of November. BBC Children in Need is a charity who’s aim is to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.  If you don’t have a charity that you support or even if you do this is a great one to get behind. Get a collection tin for your business or perhaps hold a bake sale. For more ideas check out their website.

Love them or hate them Black Friday and Cyber Monday are happening on the 25th &  28th of November. For many businesses especially those in retail this is the epitome of marketing. Small business, think about whether you are in or out and get your marketing ready!

Christmas is now less than 2 months away. It’s time to put your Christmas marketing plan into action and get going on those last minute preparations.  If you need to buy anything for your marketing efforts buy them now and toward the end of the month get those decorations up.

One for the diary. Small Business Saturday is on the 3rd of December. Check out their website for how you can get involved.
