There is lots of data circulating about the best time to post. This data is great as a guide or starting point. However, every business is different as are their customers and as such, your best time to post may vary.
Facebook Insights is a fantastic tool to help you determine the best times to post for your individual business. Below is a guide to help you find the data you need to better target your posts to times when more of your customers are on Facebook.
Click on the INSIGHTS button at the top of the page, this will take you to the ‘Overview’
Then click on the POSTS button in the left hand column,
Ensure you are on the ‘When your Fans are Online’ tab.
This brings up two graphs. The first shows when your followers are on by days of the week. The 2nd graph shows the times of the day when your followers are on, over a 1 week period. If you hover over each day in the first graph, it will also show you the times when your followers are on for that particular day on the 2nd graph.
Armed with this information, you now have a better idea of the times of day your followers are on and can post accordingly to have the greatest impact!
